Help me a example or Api reference in Background service / Local notification

Hi,

I'm a newbie of Titanium Appcelerator. I read KitchenShink project, but I don't see where it show me Background service and Local notification.

I searched a lot here, most of posts said that the MobileSDK 1.5 support Background service and Local notification.

Is current Build-SDK MobileSDK 1.5 release? Where can I found the example or API reference?

Please help me!!!
